Logo clipping campaigns
A logo campaign is the lightest thing you can buy. Editors make their own clips, from their own material, and your logo goes on them. You pay per 1,000 views, and it costs less than any other campaign type because you’re asking for less.
What you’re actually buying
Not your footage, cut up. Someone else’s content, with your mark on it. The editor picks the subject, the hook and the edit, and the brief sets where your logo sits, how long it stays on screen and how legible it has to be.
That’s the trade. You give up control of what the video is about, and in exchange you reach audiences for a fraction of what a brand campaign costs.
What it costs
$0.30 to $0.50 per 1,000 views, the lowest of the three campaign types, because the editor is doing the least work specific to you. Music sits at $0.50 to $1.00 and brand campaigns at $0.50 to $3.00. All three are laid out in what a campaign costs.
What it’s good for
- Getting a mark in front of a lot of people cheaply. If the job is recognition rather than explanation, this is the efficient way to buy it.
- Brands with nothing to clip. No footage, no podcast, no streams. A logo campaign needs none of that.
- Running alongside something else. A logo campaign on top of a brand campaign widens the net without competing for the same budget.
What it’s bad for
- Explaining anything. A logo doesn’t say what you do. If someone needs to understand the product, this isn’t the campaign.
- Brand safety on a short leash. You don’t choose the content your mark appears on. The brief can rule categories out, and we reject what breaks it, but you’re still buying placement on other people’s ideas.
- Attribution. People see a logo, they don’t click it. Measure it as reach, not as traffic.
What you supply
- The logo, as a transparent PNG or SVG, in a form that stays readable at phone size.
- Placement rules, if you have them. Corner, duration, minimum size, clear space.
- What you won’t appear next to. This is the one to be specific about.
How it compares
Against ads, a logo campaign buys organic placement on real accounts rather than impressions you targeted, usually at a far lower cost per 1,000 views. The comparison is in clipping compared with running ads. Against UGC, you’re paying per view rather than per video, which is in clipping compared with UGC.
